Oregon Country

My brother-n-law, aka Uncle Todd spends most of his time after he clocks out from his day job, working their 5 acres. They have a beautiful tree farm going on, Todd is the best guy I know to nurture these trees.

What you don't know about this sweet picture of the kids is after I took two pictures the fence cracked right under Courtney. They all got scared and jumped off, leaving Baylee a lil hurt and crying, since it was pretty high for her. Oh well, at least the picture is fabuous!
We were all able to go to the baby blessing of Lil' Gwen Meredith Ricker. It was beautiful and great to spend time with family.
This Gwen baby had two rows full of friends and family to see her blessing day. She got passed around like a box of chocolates, everyone had to get a piece.

Baylee's Dance Recital at Irene's School of Dance

Baylee and her good friend Kira wait at the dress rehearsal.
The tap dance was my favorite, "The Country Western Ya-hoo."
Her ballet song was called "My Colorful Tutu." Baylee did a great job in both of her dances.
The girls love getting flowers and a trophy after a recital. Ashlyn has saved one of her roses from four years ago.
Our tired cowgirl after a long day of dancin'.

Rock 'N' Roll Seattle-June 27, 2009

This is Brian's first half marathon...a big whopping 13.1 mile run from Tukwilla to the Safeco Field in downtown Seattle. He did a great job!
The kids are so proud of their Daddy. They made a sign for him and we met him at the end of the race. (Click to see it bigger, pretty cute)
We were happy to spot him right away with the thousands of runners coming in.

We are proud of you!! What an accomplishment :)

What we've been up to this summer!!

Harborside Park has fun fountains, it's next to the ferry dock in Bremerton. The girls being silly :)
The boys are so cool! (Caden skipped out on this pic)
At the Dyes Inlet throwing rocks to see who hit the can first. Kids loved it.
The whole gang posing by the bridge along the Clear Creek Trail.
Courtney, Sarah and Ashlyn swimming at the YMCA.

Good bye to "Pot Hole Road"... you will not be missed.

The day has finally come after five years of driving on a very bumpy, very dusty, mostly muddy dirt road. We share the road with three other families. We all came together last week and got the job done. We are thrilled!!

And so we say good bye to what we called "Pot hole Rd." If you have had the chance to come one or a hundred times to our house, you know the pain we've endured. Thank you to the youth group at church for their service projects here, we are happy to say the can now go find other places to help.We know you were our true friends for coming to visit the Andersons. If we lost any friends along the way, our house is still open for your visits and a nice smooth ride.
