Rainy Day Thursday

It was a normal rainy day today. The usual, pick up the kids at 3:25 and listen to how their school day went. Chase will usually take over with something exciting, like who might be getting suspended today. As long as its not him, I can handle it. The kids were drenched and I remembered that I need to put an umbrella in each of their back pack's. Why haven't I done that yet? It's the Arizona girl in me,I guess. I wanted to do something fun with the kids, but the weather says go home and stay dry...homework, snacks, laundry, finishing "Twilight" with Courtney before the movie comes out on the 21st of November; all sounds better than getting soaked to me. Then, Courtney taught me how to feel the rain. I looked back and saw the girls with their hands on the roof of the truck. I tried it (yes I was driving.) Wow, pretty cool. You can feel the pressure on your fingers. I'd never thought to do this before. The rain didn't seem so bad anymore and we just enjoyed talking about how much we like it when it rains hard. Thanks Court.
